Great Milton is on the Oxford side of the Chilterns and after a night at Le Manoir there can be nothing better than driving through the breathtaking Chiltern villages of Ibstone, Turville, Fingest and Hambleden and stopping off in a village pub like the Stag & Huntsman in Hambleden for a cosy lunch before spending an afternoon in Henley or Marlow.
Le Manoir is particularly special at Christmas time with concerts held in the nearby church followed by a sumptuous dinner.
