Entertaining at 'The Firs'

Henley Royal Regatta 30th June - 4th July
The only way to entertain at this most quintessentially English event is to invite your guests to this magnificent boat house located on the Oxfordshire bank of the Thames with panoramic views of the entire event. A wonderful alternative to the typical corporate marquees.

"The Firs" is a delightful, mid-Victorian, residential boathouse, situated opposite the 'boat tents', just clear of the Regatta finishing post, with a wonderful balcony affording an excellent view of the course. The direct river frontage and skippered launches from Peter Freebody & Co mean that this is one of the very few spots from which your guests can take to the water in style as the whim takes them.

You can enjoy full silver service entertaining on both the ground and first floors, including morning coffee, a sumptuous four course lunch, afternoon tea, floral decorations, racing programmes and some of the most beautiful traditional Thames launches for your exclusive use to elegantly cruise the course and enjoy the proceedings up close throughout the day.

The boat house offers a range of flexible choices. The ground floor can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 20 guests.

The first floor is perfect for parties of up to 30 guests, or the entire property may be reserved for parties of up to a maximum of 50 guests. Reserved car parking is also provided nearby.

"The Firs" is now taking enquiries for 2005.
